My name is Rami Jabaji and I’m a hobbyist landscape photographer from the Pacific Northwest. I am first a father of two wonderful kids Kai & Lily / two incredible dogs SoBe and Tiny and husband to my amazing wife Chelsea. Growing up in a Baltimore County, MD, I was drawn to the vibrant colors and flowing water of the woods creeks surrounding my neighborhood. I have carried my love of nature with me throughout my life and now am lucky enough to call the Pacific Northwest my home. This is a photographer’s dream location and I’m constantly inspired by the incredible landscape and diversity of Oregon. I have always found beauty in the simple and clarity in the complex elements of nature. I am grateful to have found an art form that allows me to capture these moments and share them with the world. I’m thrilled to be able to share these photos with you and I truly hope you enjoy them.
How I got started: In 2010, my eyes were opened to the power of a camera. I was living in New York City at the time and looking for a way to capture the unique sights of the city. While on vacation at La Fortuna waterfall in Costa Rica, an innocent question sparked something inside me. “Would you mind taking our picture?” One click of the shutter and something clicked inside me. As soon as I got home I ordered my first camera and began exploring and documenting the wonders of New York City. The camera harnessed the creative passion inside me and drew me to find new and interesting places to explore. In 2012 I moved to Oregon and my passion for photography has only continued to grow. It is the perfect place for a photographer and adventurer. I’m more inspired every day to capture the beauty in front of me.
